The CD and digital release arrives on the 25th anniversary of the debut of the series, which has since become a global cultural phenomenon with fans across the world gearing up for the Shin Evangelion film release in 2021. The CD and digital release will be followed by a vinyl release in February 2021, celebrating both the Shin Evangelion film release and Anime Month.
